Family Walks Past WinField Crop Adventure

Tune in: Fields of the Future

We’re pulling back the curtain on modern agriculture

Corn isn’t the only thing that grows well in Indiana soil. Turns out, Indiana fields are also a great place to grow a conversation about modern agriculture.

Today, we’re taking a conversation about food and agriculture beyond the field in a live online broadcast. The backdrop for the 30-minute program, Fields of the Future, is the unveiling of the WinField Crop Adventure at Fair Oaks Farms in Indiana. The Crop Adventure is an experiential exhibit designed for students ages 8-12 years old and their families, that celebrates modern farming and illustrates the innovation and entrepreneurialism at the core of agriculture.

Chris Policinski, Land O’Lakes, Inc. president and CEO will be joined by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Mike Vande Logt, WinField COO and Mike McCloskey, co-founder of Fair Oaks Farms.  We’ll also meet Kelly Irvine, a 15-year-old, seventh generation farmer, who is passionate about taking agriculture into the future.

Through conversation we aim to raise awareness of modern agriculture, spotlight the entrepreneurial spirit and influence of farmers and spark discussions around solutions to feeding more than 9 billion people by 2050.

Watch live today at 1:30 p.m. CT (or head here for engaging clips). Together, we can ensure Fields of the Future.
