Yone will have overall responsibility for all supply chain operations

Yone Dewberry

Yone Dewberry has been promoted to Chief Supply Chain Officer for Land O'Lakes, Inc., effective May 15.

In this role, Yone will have overall responsibility for all supply chain operations. This move aligns all key supply chain functions and provides a leader who will focus on supply chain talent development that will position us for the future. In addition, the creation of this position allows Beth Ford, Group EVP and COO, to focus more time and attention on the businesses.

Yone took on an expanded role this winter as we evolved the structure of the supply chain team. This evolution was designed to drive enhanced integration and to expand his portfolio. Now, we are ready to take the next step in aligning his responsibilities with our aggressive goals for Land O’Lakes.

Yone currently serves as senior vice president – supply chain and procurement. He joined Land O’Lakes in 2008 as Director of Dairy Planning. He is a very highly regarded strategist with a broad background including more than 12 years working as a supply chain consultant with companies including BDP International, and KPMG and 15 years with Consumer products and Chemical companies like Kraft Foods, Corning Glass, and ARCO. In addition to proving his value to clients in his consulting role, earlier in his career, Yone was hands-on in direct leadership plant positions in Kraft plants, including Entenman’s Bakery, on the East Coast. With a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from Lehigh University, he has brought tremendous value in changing distribution models, accelerating our service collaboration, redefining our transportation strategy and positioning in the art of innovation.

Yone’s new organization will now include Su Rankin’s organization which was expanded this winter to include both Feed Strategic Operations and Dairy Foods Operations. In addition, Sara Mortimore’s Quality team will now report up to Yone.
