Do pro football players have what it takes to be farmers? Join us for the Land O’Lakes Farm Bowl Feb. 1 at Mariucci Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota to find out. The Land O’Lakes Farm Bowl will showcase professional football players competing on a whole different kind of playing field: the tough but rewarding field of modern farming.
The Land O’Lakes Farm Bowl will pit teams of current and former professional football players and Land O’Lakes farmers against each other in a series of on-farm experiences and light-hearted farm-themed challenges to demonstrate the skill, determination and grit required to succeed as a farmer today.
The Challenges:
The players will compete in four challenges on a one-of-a-kind course that exemplifies the core principles of football and modern farming: strength, endurance, intelligence and coordination. A course of hay bales, drones, milk pipes and tractor tires will put our competitors’ skills to the test. The final two teams will compete in a fifth challenge to win the coveted Farm Bowl Trophy.

There will be reserved seating for Land O’Lakes members in Section 20 of Mariucci arena.

No identification is required at the event, simply identify yourself as a Land O’Lakes member-owner. Reserved seating is available as first come, first serve.
Parking: The nearest public/visitor parking would be 37 Lot, Maroon Lot or the University Ave Ramp. Given increased traffic leading up the big game, public transportation or ride share programs (Uber, Lyft) are a good option.
